Full, luscious brows all year round? Who could say no to that? There’s a revolutionary new treatment called microblading that’s allowing men and women to thicken and enhance their eyebrows with a simple in-office visit. The new technique is safe and effective for all skin types and tones and produces natural, long-lasting results you’ll love.
At Dorner Plastic Surgery, we’re happily using microblading as a less-invasive alternative to traditional eyebrow tattooing. The procedure gives you the shape, style, and fullness you want by mimicking your natural hair follicles.
Before your treatment, our technicians will complete a full facial evaluation and talk to you about your aesthetic goals. Together we’ll go over photos and establish a plan to give you an optimal outcome. We’ll then use an advanced hand-held pen to fill in gaps with hair-like strokes, reshape the contour of your brow, and give you an overall thicker-looking eyebrow.

Most patients find the procedure to be well tolerated with very little pain. A topical numbing cream can be applied upon request for men and women with ultra-sensitive skin.
Immediately after your appointment, you can go about your normal daily routine. You may experience redness, swelling, itchiness, and/or tenderness for 1-2 weeks post-treatment. In most cases, a follow-up session is scheduled within 4-6 weeks to make final changes and adjustments.
Although some results can be seen directly after your initial microblading session, it can take upwards of 1-month for the color to fully set in. The highly-customizable procedure allows you to get the look you want whether it be subtle or dramatic without having to apply makeup daily.
When done properly, microblading can produce long-term results lasting upwards of 1-year or more. Touch-up treatments are recommended on an annual basis or as needed to maintain the thick appearance of eyebrows.
